Where did I use it? Do you remember the now pretty “famous” autumn dinner? I made the cutlery holders I needed with Tiger origami paper. You only need a nice Christmas paper sheet matching your table to have a cutlery holder for your festive moments!

1 . Start with a sheet of square origami paper, place it on the table with the non-decorated facing you. Fold in half and unfold.

2 . Fold in half both the upper part and the lower one, in order to bring the edges towards the center, then unfold.

3 . Fold the bottom right corner towards the center, to meet the center fold.

4 . Fold the top right corner towards the first fold from top.

5 . Fold the first quarter downwards.

6 . Fold it again downwards.

I had planned an autumn-themed dinner with friends: lots of seasonal fruits and tasty recipes for the occasion. I then decided to make a set with the decorations that I realized, garlands with the colors of autumn, decorative gourds with placeholder tags, apples decorated with cinnamon sticks as centerpieces and many small paper leaves made ​​with a punch and wooden leaves from Villeroy & Boch   (a gift from my brother)

In this buffet you can only see my specialty: brownies… [...]]]>

I enjoyed a lot doing this set and believe me, it is also very hard to prepare everything, especially because in my house there’s not much light, alas, so everything had to be ready for the brighter time of the day. And you can imagine what a mess “behind” the camera…

I’ve been shopping at Tiger in Meravigli 1, in Milan and of course I couldn’t avoid doing a rich booty of cute materials. This house-box is now a washitape container, but I also loved the decorating paper that I used as a background, for the flower origami and to build the 3D paper ball. What do you think? I’m completely caught!

A few days ago on my Instagram profile (if you still do not follow me here is the link http://instagram.com/girotundo/#) I posted a picture titled “I got home”: it has red roof tiles, walls in pink and white stripes , a little flower on the window and a bird on the door. What do I want more? Ah, there’s also a cat!
